Storefront help

How do I claim an imported storefront? Sign up or log in and verify your email first. An eligible unclaimed shop can be claimed automatically with a verified email matching its trusted company domain. The claim page shows that domain and your route. Other email domains, shared hosting, ownership conflicts or missing domain evidence require manual review. A second company-email account cannot take over an already claimed shop. What does imported or managed mean? An imported, unclaimed shop contains public merchant information and has not been claimed by its representative. Managed means an owning Don.Fish account controls the shop. A claim or paid membership is separate from reviewed business verification. None of these labels guarantees safety, product quality or a sale. What is free, and what does Storefront membership include? Free shops get a unique URL, ordinary discovery, claiming, logos, banners, curated palettes, basic named product sections and essential inventory controls. Individual Captain’s Club costs $10/month. Storefront costs $15/month total and includes Individual benefits, merchant analytics, labelled paid placement, bounded custom colors, section covers/descriptions, compact or grid layouts and a five-account team. Prices recur monthly. Paid placement does not verify ownership or guarantee traffic or sales. How do team invitations and permissions work? The paid Storefront team includes five accounts total: the owner and four staff. Pending invitations reserve seats for seven days. Invitees need verified accounts at the invited email, without a personal subscription for shop work. Staff manage products and sections, answer shop inquiries and view entitled shop analytics. Branding, billing, invitations, pause, removal and transfers remain owner actions. Shop access does not grant staff personal Captain’s Club benefits or financial transaction authority. Will claiming stop imports or overwrite my edits? Claiming keeps eligible imports running by default. Automatic refresh uses a 30-day interval, with a shared 24-hour manual cooldown. Owners can pause imports. Stable product mappings preserve intentional corrections and product-section assignments; branding stays separate from imported fields. Import status shows source availability, refresh timing and queued work. Report incorrect source data through a correction request. How can I organize my catalog? Create up to 20 named sections and assign a product to more than one. All products always shows eligible unassigned inventory too. Deleting a section removes its assignments, never its products. Search covers All products unless you select a section. Section covers, descriptions and compact layout require Storefront membership. Where do customers buy and who handles shipping or returns? Imported merchant listings may hand customers off to the merchant’s website. Don.Fish does not process that merchant purchase or observe its sales without an integration. Supported direct Don.Fish transactions use the existing transaction flow. Check each merchant’s stated payment, shipping and return policies; those policies are separate from this platform help. What do the analytics numbers mean? The dashboard reports observed storefront/product views, merchant-site handoffs, new and responded shop inquiries, response-time summaries and recorded confirmed Don.Fish transactions over 7, 30 or 90 days. External merchant purchases are Unavailable, not zero or inferred sales. Behavioral tracking honors privacy preferences; some activity cannot be observed. Shop analytics require the owner’s Storefront entitlement and current owner/staff permission. How do billing, cancellation and access ending work? Use authenticated membership management for invoices, payment details, plan changes and cancellation, even when new enrollment is closed. Stripe sends configured receipts and payment-recovery notices; Don.Fish explains membership changes without duplicating receipts. Upgrades are immediate with invoice-based proration. Downgrades and customer cancellations take effect at paid-period end. Existing legacy subscriptions stay unchanged unless you switch. When Storefront entitlement ends, the shop falls back to free presentation and owner-only access. Stored paid appearance can return on renewal; each teammate must be restored explicitly. What is the difference between pausing, removing and deleting my account? A temporary shop pause hides discovery and its catalog, shows an unavailable public link, pauses imports and preserves queued work and existing inquiries. Approved permanent removal suppresses public shop/catalog access and reimport while retaining necessary history. For a paid shop, the owner must confirm period-end Storefront cancellation; no Individual subscription is created automatically. Whole-account deletion is separate and uses the verified billing/deletion worker. How do I request a correction, ownership review or removal? Sign up or log in, verify your email and submit a private request from the storefront help/removal page. Representatives of unclaimed shops can request manual review. Provide relevant ownership context, never passwords or payment credentials. Ryan reviews disputes and transfers. Requests show received, reviewing, needs-information, approved, rejected or completed status. Pending requests grant no management access. Will my storefront appear in marketing emails? Active free and paid shops can opt in to future editorial consideration. Eligible shops may be considered for occasional features. There is no guaranteed schedule, placement, traffic or sales, and opting in does not start a campaign.
